Sebina Vuyeya Segooa

Ms Sebina Vuyeya Segooa, commonly referred to as Sis Vuyi, serves as the Implementation Coordinator for the "Generating Better Livelihoods for Grant Recipients" project. This project aims at enhancing the livelihoods of child support grant beneficiaries, the majority of whom being women. In this capacity, she assumes the crucial responsibility of overseeing the daily operations at project implementation sites.

 

Vuyi possesses extensive expertise acquired from her tenure in executive and senior management positions within both governmental and corporate sectors. She has held the position of Head of the Office of Deputy Minister of Social Development, where she played a pivotal role in shaping and implementing policies related to social development. Additionally, Vuyi served as the Head of Regulatory and Government Relations in Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa, where she effectively navigated complex regulatory environments and established strong relationships with governmental entities.

Vuyi's diverse experience also includes being one of the founders and Director at JV Lorha, a company specializing in the production of Moringa-related products. 

​

She holds a Diploma in Education and an Honors degree from Vista University, which have equipped her with a solid foundation in education and a deeper understanding of social dynamics.

 

Driven by her unwavering commitment to empowerment, Vuyi focuses on enabling individuals, particularly women, to enhance their livelihoods and take control of their own futures. Through her work, she strives to make a lasting positive impact on the lives of grant recipients and create opportunities for their long-term prosperity.
